Swine Festival is held in the park-like setting outside the Iowa Culinary Institute next to the lake
on DMACC’s Ankeny campus. Live music will be provided by The Guilty Pleasures and will set the

Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits will be pouring and selling several unique wines from their expansive selection of wines from around the world. This gives guests the opportunity for guests to compare and contrast Iowa wines to their counterparts from other regions.

The Guilty Pleasures are a new deluxe acoustic cover band that delivers a wide variety of songs most everyone will know. Made up of ex-members of The Rathbones and Punching Picasso, the band creatively restructures tunes from a wide range of artists into a fun acoustic format.
From the Violent Femmes to Johnny Cash, along with a multitude of favorites like The Beatles, Blue Oyster Cult, Jason Mraz, REM, Pink Floyd, Modern English and John Denver, The Guilty Pleasures are willing to admit they love these classic hits so you don’t have to!
This year’s event is presented by the Iowa Pork Producers Association and Hy-Vee stores and supported by Hormel, Di Lusso Meats and the Des Moines Radio Group.
Advance tickets are $40 and available until May 15 with no fees at all Des Moines area Hy-Vee stores or at www.tikly.co. Entry fee includes a bottle of wine of each guest’s choice, commemorative wine glass, wine and pork samples and live music. Proceeds benefit the viticulture and enology program at DMACC’s Iowa Culinary Institute.
Attendance will be limited to 2000 guests. If tickets remain available the day of the event they will be sold for $45 at the gate.
Swine Festival is a rain or shine event and will move inside DMACC’s building #7 (immediately adjacent to the event grounds) in the case of inclement weather.
